Who is Dave? No one really knows. There are many theories. He comes off as something different to different people. Some think he is cool, others think he is corny. Some say he is quiet and shy, while others think he is obnoxious. Some think he is a tough guy, others a wuss. Some think he is a genius, while others look at him like he is a dummy. Some think he doesnt give a damn about anyone or anything, others think he cares too much and has a heart of gold. Some say he is a bad guy, others a good guy. Some say he is lazy, others the hardest worker they know. Some think he is the strongest person they ever met and others the biggest crybaby. Some say he is a dreamer, and needs to wake up, others say he is goal oriented and driven.....Well, he is a combination of all those things!!!
Dave is a product of the 80s and 90s. Although, his roots go back to Philly, he is a Jersey boy to the bone. Dave has many weird tastes and and has had a different childhood than most. Dave is different....
Growing up he had two lives. One with a Mother who cared so much, that at times she was too strict (thank God for that). The other with a father who wasnt strict at all and cared more about being a friend, and the cool parent, than being a father (thank God for that as well). Dave experienced life of Suburbia New Jersey right outside of NYC and that of a Trailer Park in PA, right outside of Philly. Basically, the only child of a lower middle class family...Experienced what it was like to be spoiled despite growing up alittle bit richer than poor.
Born in 1979, Dave is definitely a product of the 80s and early 90s, with sports and music being life.....A product of Idolizing Michael Jackson, Luke Skywalker, and Pee Wee Herman in the 80s and then Vanilla Ice, Lenny Dykstra and the Fresh Prince in the Early 90s. Old School Hip Hop and Bon Jovi was the music of Choice. However, he is a lover of all kinds....Dad listened to Oldies, Mom Hard Rock....Anything from Cheesy 80s Ballads to Milli Vanilli to the hardest of Hard Core Rap could be found in a collection of over 1000 Cds/Cassettes. When it comes to sports, used to be athletic but gave up the sports dream to make money (both a good thing and a bad one, long story)...grew up a die hard Philly fan despite being raised in North/Central Jersey.
In his adult life....all 8 years of it, he has experienced what it is be on top of the world and the bottom. What it is like to be loved and lonely. Happier than a pig in shit and so sad he wanted to die. Two of the worst years of his life was in the last 8, where as the 4 of the other six rank as his best...This website is going to take u on a look at what its like being Dave and take all those experiences and combine them into an enjoyable website for all...
